Missing US woman with Disney tattoos who 'failed to fly home' traced

A missing American woman who failed to arrive at Edinburgh Airport for her flight home has been traced.

On Tuesday, police issued an appeal for information to help trace Alisha Sutton, also known as Alisha Bowman, who was reported missing in Edinburgh.

The 36-year-old was last seen around 7.20am on Sunday at Hawes Pier in South Queensferry, after reportedly disembarking from a cruise ship.

Police later confirmed that Alisha has been traced.

The public has been thanked for their assistance.
