A missing teenager who failed to return home has been traced.

Kyle McDonald was last seen in the Kaims Court area of Livingston around 5.30pm on Wednesday.

Police Scotland confirmed the 16-year-old had been traced on Thursday evening.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Kyle McDonald, 16, reported missing from Livingston, has been traced.

“Thanks to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal.”
