Police have said a missing schoolgirl who disappeared in Dunbar has been found “safe”.
Sophia Timms was reported missing after last being seen around 8.30am on Monday, May 13, on Belhaven Road in the East Lothian town.
Concerns had been growing for her welfare and officers carried out searches for the missing ten-year-old.
Police confirmed on Monday afternoon that Sophia had since been traced.
A statement read: “Sophia Timms, ten, reported missing in Dunbar, has been traced safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal.”
