Police have said a woman last seen boarding a train from Edinburgh has been traced “safe and well”.

Emma Shaw, 34, was seen in the Granton area around 5.30am on Monday and then made her way to Edinburgh Waverley Station.

Officers said on Tuesday she was traced and thanked members of the public for sharing its appeal.
