A teenager who disappeared more than a week ago from a Fife town may be in Edinburgh, police have said.
Jessica McMurray was last seen in Crail on Thursday, August 11 and has not been heard from since.
The 17-year-old has been reported missing previously and later traced in Glasgow, however officers said she has not been missing for this length of time before.
Police added that she may have travelled to Edinburgh on Friday and urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: “We are asking for help to trace Jessica McMurray, 17, last seen in Crail on Thursday August 11.
“She has been missing before and traced in Glasgow but not for this length of time. She may have been in Edinburgh on Friday August 19.
“If you have seen her or know where she is please call 101.”
