iStockAn investigation has been launched after a home was deliberately set alight in Hawick on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to Wellfield Road in the town following reports of a property fire at around 9.20pm.
Detectives are treating the blaze as wilful. There were no reported injuries.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing. Officers are urging those with private CCTV in the area to come forward.
Those with information are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 2989 of Saturday, April 11.
