A manhunt has been launched after a driver fled on foot following a police pursuit during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A short car chase occurred after a vehicle failed to stop in the Peasehill Brae area of Rosyth at around 12.50am.
The car came to a stop on Castle Road where it rolled into a parked car. The male driver evaded capture on foot.
Officers searched the area for the man, however, they were unable to trace him. An investigation is ongoing.
Inspector James Henry said: “Around 12.50am on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, a car failed to stop for officers in the Peasehill Brae area of Rosyth.
“A short pursuit took place, however the male occupant exited and ran from the vehicle on Castle Road, where it rolled into a parked car.
“A search of the area was carried out however there was no trace of the man. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
