A man who died after an alleged stabbing in Edinburgh has been named, with a suspect due to appear in court.
Emergency services and armed police officers were called around 9.40pm on Sunday to a disturbance outside Cables Wynd House – known as the Banana Flats.
Barry Gilgun, 35, was found with serious injuries and died at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Police have now confirmed a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland statement read: “A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
