A man was taken to hospital with leg injuries after being bitten by a dog in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the Sighthill Park area of the capital at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, April 19, after a 41-year-old was attacked by a dog.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his legs.
The owner of the dog is described as a white man, bald, with a stocky build, and wearing glasses.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Todd Rutherford said: “The victim suffered injuries to his legs that required hospital treatment.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident to get in touch.”
