A man has been taken to hospital, and a suspect has been charged following a disturbance in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Cowdenbeath High Street around 6pm on Sunday following reports of an incident.
A man was taken to hospital for treatment after eyewitnesses claimed blood was spotted at the scene.
Police confirmed a 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance.
He was released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Sunday, July 12, 2026, officers received a report of a disturbance on High Street, Cowdenbeath.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.”
