A man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving crashed into a wall at Edinburgh Airport.
Emergency services were called to reports of a road crash at the entrance of a car park at the airport around 11.35am on Monday.
Video uploaded to social media showed police cars, ambulance services and fire crews at the scene.
A 54-year-old man, who was the driver and the only person in the car, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
No other injuries were reported, and STV News understands that the incident is not being treated as terror-related.
Police also confirmed the 54-year-old had been charged following the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 11.35 am on Monday, October 10, police were called to a report of a road crash at the entrance to a car park at Edinburgh Airport.
“No members of the public were injured following the incident.
“A 54-year-old man, the driver and sole occupant of the car, has been taken by ambulance to hospital.
“The 54-year-old man has been charged and is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged road traffic offences following the incident.”
