A man has been taken to hospital after an incident in Fife.

The 21-year-old was found injured on the Wellesley Road area of Buckhaven on Wednesday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene at around 5pm.

Officers are now investigation to establish the full circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Wednesday, August 27, we were called to a report of an injured man in the Wellesley Road area of Buckhaven.

“Emergency services attended and the 21-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
