Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was spotted with a knife in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident in Dalry’s Caledonian Road at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
Officers attended and carried out a full search of the area, but there was no trace of the man.
The suspect was described as black, and around 6ft with a stocky build.
Police said he was wearing a hat, black puffer-style jacket with a fur trim, and black trousers.
Chief inspector Mark Hamilton, local area commander, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the description of this man, or anyone who was in the area at the time.”
