A man has been left seriously injured after being attacked with a knife in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Glamis Road in Kirkcaldy just before midnight on Monday following reports of a man having been assaulted.
The 24-year-old man was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries, including a laceration after he was “slashed” by a bladed weapon, according to police.
A spokesperson said: “Around 11.55pm on Monday, October 5, we received a report of a 24-year-old man seriously assaulted in Glamis Road, Kirkcaldy.
“Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing.
“The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment for a laceration.”
