A man has been pronounced dead at a property in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called around 5.15pm on Saturday to reports of concern for a person on Crewe Road North in the city.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, police confirmed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026, we were called to a report of concern for a person on Crewe Road North, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
