Police are concerned over the welfare of a man who has not been seen in ten days.

Michael Fitzpatrick, 48, was last spotted in the Haugh Street area of Falkirk at around 12pm on Friday, April 17.

He was reported missing on Sunday having been out of contact with his family.

Enquiries so far suggest that he may have travelled to Edinburgh and then onto Berwick-Upon-Tweed by train.

It is possible that he may be camping wild.

Sergeant Fiona Picken said: “It is out of character for Michael to be out of contact with family or friends for an extended period and we have concerns for his welfare as a result.

“We would urge anyone who may have seen him at any time since April 17 to let us know as soon as possible.”
