Police have launched an investigation after the incident in Grangemouth.

A man was left injured after five men broke into his home and stole personal items.

The incident took place at Croftside Court in Grangemouth at around 10.30pm on Monday, March 28.

The men entered the property and stole from the 33-year-old victim before leaving the area in a grey Audi car.

The man suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident and later attended hospital.

Police have launched an investigation to try and establish who was responsible.

Police Scotland said the five male suspects are described as having Eastern European accents.

Detective Constable Gavin Grant, of Forth Valley CID, said: “I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident, saw a vehicle matching the description or people acting suspiciously around the area to contact us. 

“We are also keen for any local residents with private CCTV or possible dashcam footage to please come forward.  

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3808 of Monday, March 28, 2022.

“Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
