A man has been seriously injured in an assault on a street in Grangemouth.
At around 4am on Saturday, police responded to a report of a serious assault near Grangemouth High School on Tinto Drive.
A 38-year-old man was found to have suffered a serious injury and an ambulance took him to Forth Valley Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police said that officers are continuing their enquiries into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4am on Saturday, 27 February, we received a report of a serious assault in Tinto Drive, Grangemouth.
“A 38-year-old man suffered serious injury and was taken by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
