A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman who died after falling from Arthur’s Seat.
Fawziyah Javed, 31, was pronounced dead at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, on Thursday at 9pm.
A 27-year-old man, Kashif Anwar, from West Yorkshire, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday in connection with the death.
He entered no plea and was committed for further examination.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear again within the next eight days.
