Man in court charged with murder of Amy-Rose Wilson in car chase

Two men have appeared in court after the death of a woman killed in a car chase in Falkirk.

Amy-Rose Wilson, originally from Newcastle who was living in Bo’ness, was killed during a two-vehicle collision on the B902 New Carron Road on July 29.

The 27-year-old was driving a silver Vauxhall Vectra at the time and was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering fatal injuries.

A 22-year-old male passenger was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Andrew Gregoire appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Friday facing nine charges including murder and attempted murder.

Gregoire, 27, of Canvey Island in Essex was arrested in his hometown while his co-accused Steven Hornsby, 53, was arrested in London.

Gregoire is charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, conspiracy, attempted robbery, attempt to defeat the ends of justice, carrying an offensive weapon, carrying a bladed weapon, and behaving in a threatening of abusive manner.

Hornsby, who also appeared at court on Friday, is charged with conspiracy and attempt to defeat the ends of justice.

Neither made any plea or declaration, and their next appearance in court is due in the next eight days.
