Google MapsPolice are searching for an attacker after a man was found seriously injured in a common stairwell in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the Muirhouse Gardens area at around 2.45pm on Friday after reports of a serious assault.
A man was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
No arrests have been made in connection with the attack.
An “extensive” investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing, police have said.
