Google MapsThe body of a man has been discovered inside a hostel in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to a hostel on Minto Street at around 11am on Monday after receiving reports that a 47-year-old man had died.
Investigators are not treating the incident as suspicious and a post mortem examination is under way to determine the cause of death.
A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Monday, October 14 2024 a 47-year-old man was found dead within a hostel in Minto Street, Edinburgh.
“A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death which is not being treated as suspicious.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
