Emergency services were called to Restlarig Road in Edinburgh after receiving reports of the death of a 48-year-old man in a flat.
The incident is not believed to be suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.55pm on Thursday, April 14, 2025, police received a report a 48-year-old man had died within a flat in Restalrig Road, Edinburgh.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
A Scottish Ambulance Spokesperson added: “We received a call at 8.59pm on Monday, April 14, to attend an incident on Restalrig Road South, Edinburgh. We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.”
