A man has died in hospital after being pulled from water at a park in Fife.
The 20-year-old got into difficulty in water at Lochore Meadows on Saturday evening.
Police confirmed they were called around 6pm and the man was taken to Victoria Hospital, where he died a short time later.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 6pm on Saturday, police were called to a report that a 20-year-old man had gotten into difficulty in water at Lochore Meadows and had been pulled out.
“He was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment but died a short time later.”
