Man dies in hospital after being found injured on M876

A man has died after being found seriously injured on the M876.

The incident happened at J2 near Larbert, Falkirk, shortly after 12am on Wednesday.

Emergency services attended and the 29-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, where he died a short time later.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
