A man has died following a smash between a car and a lorry in Clackmannanshire.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision on the A908 near Benview at around 5.50am on Thursday.
Alan Douglas, 38, from Tullibody, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road between Fishcross and Marchglen was closed for around nine hours for investigation works to take place.
It eventually reopened at 3.15pm.
Sergeant David Ross said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Douglas at this difficult time.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the crash and I would ask for the public’s assistance with our investigation.
“If anyone was in the area at the time of the crash, or has any dashcam footage that can assist us, please get in contact.
“I would like to thank everyone who has helped with our enquiries so far.”
