A man has died after falling from the window of a third-floor tenement flat in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Lauriston Gardens around 7.15am on Tuesday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report that a man had fallen from a third storey window on Lauriston Gardens, Edinburgh, around 7.15am on Tuesday, June 1.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
