A man has died after falling from the Harvey Nichols building in Edinburgh.
Police were called to the department store at St Andrews Square at around 11.35am on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended, however the man was pronounced dead a short time later.

STV NewsA Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.35am on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, we were called to a report that a man had fallen from height at a building in the St Andrew Square area of Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended however the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
A Frasers Group spokesperson said “We are aware of an incident at the Harvey Nichols Edinburgh store and are working closely with the relevant emergency services and authorities.
“The safety and wellbeing of our customers, colleagues and visitors remains our highest priority. We ask that the privacy of everyone involved is respected at this time.”
