A man has been charged with drug offences following a raid at a Midlothian industrial estate.

The warrant was executed by an investigation team comprising of officers and staff from Police Scotland and the National Crime Agency at a premises on Dryden Road in Loanhead on February 6.

Detectives have remained on the scene for over a week.

Officers have charged a 43-year-old man in connection with drug offences. An investigation is ongoing.

Detective Chief Inspector Laura Sands, Police Scotland Organised Crime Partnership, said: “Officers are at a premises on Dryden Road, Loanhead, following the execution of a warrant on Friday, 6 February, 2026.

“A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences. Enquiries remain ongoing.

“There is no risk to the wider public and anyone with concerns can approach officers in the area.”
