A man has been charged with abduction and assault after a woman and baby were taken to hospital following a disturbance in Edinburgh.
Firearms and specialist officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a property on St Leonard’s Street at around 9am on June 21.
Homes were evacuated as emergency services responded, and a 46-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident.
A 38-year-old woman and a baby were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Scott Bradbury made no plea during his appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 46-year-old was charged with abduction and assault to injury, as well as two counts of threatening or abusive behaviour.
He was also charged with abduction, two counts of assault, and breach of the peace.
Bradbury was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He is due to appear again within the next eight days.
