A man has been charged after a bus hit and killed a pensioner in Edinburgh in February.
On February 4, emergency services were called to Clifton Terrace in the capital’s west end shortly after 5.30pm.
The pedestrian, named as 79-year-old local Allan Moir, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following his death his family paid tribute to the “beloved dad and grandad” as police launched an appeal for information.
Police Scotland has confirmed that a 34-year-old man has been charged in connection and will appear in court at a later date.
