A man has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault at a branch of McDonald’s in Edinburgh.
The 25-year-old was arrested over the incident at the food outlet in the Gorgie area of the capital on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the location on Gorgie Park Road shortly after 1.30pm following reports of the alleged attack.
The man is due to appear in court at later date after being released from custody on an undertaking.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a sexual assault which happened at a premises on Gorgie Park Road in Edinburgh around 1.35pm on Sunday, August 6.
“He was released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.”
