iStockA man has been charged after a woman was found dead inside a car in Fife.
The body of Jane Fitzpatrick, 48, was found within a vehicle in Cable Road, Glenrothes, on Monday, August 9.
On Friday, Police Scotland said a 35-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death. He has since been charged and is due before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.
The force said extensive inquiries have been carried out to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
