A man has been charged after police officer was knocked down by a car in East Lothian on Tuesday.
Emergency Services were called to the High Street at around 3.55pm. A male police officer was taken to hospital and later released.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to be carried out and later reopened.
A 34-year-old man has since been charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
