Man charged after officers attend disturbance at home

A man has been charged after officers attended a disturbance at a home in Edinburgh on Monday.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at property on the capital’s Minto Street at around 2pm.

A 30-year-old was charged in connection with the disturbance. He was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Monday, October 20, 2025, police received a report of a disturbance within a property in Minto Street, Edinburgh.

“Officers attended, and a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.”
