Google MapsA man has been charged in connection with road traffic offences after a crash which left a teenager in a life-threatening condition on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Haddington Road in Musselburgh after reports of a 17-year-old female being knocked down by a black MG HS at around 4.15pm.
The teen was taken to hospital where her condition has been described as critical.
The 37-year-old male driver of the car was also taken to hospital. The 43-year-old male passenger did not require treatment.
Officers have since charged a 37-year-old man in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
