A man has been charged in connection with a pub attack in Midlothian that left a victim seriously injured.
Police asked the public for information after a serious assault at The Buccleuch pub and restaurant on the High Street in Dalkeith.
A victim sustained serious injuries following the incident, which occurred around 11.30pm on Saturday, August 12.
Officers confirmed that a 40-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the attack.
