© Google Maps 2024A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged stabbing of a woman in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Muirhouse Park at around 5.20am on Wednesday after a 43-year-old woman was seriously assaulted.
She was taken to hospital for treatment to stab wounds.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.20am on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, officers received a report of a serious assault on Muirhouse Park, Edinburgh.
“A 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
