Five people have been taken to hospital and one man has been arrested following a two car crash on Sunday afternoon in Fife.
Police received reports of the crash on the A907 at Blairhall shortly before 1.30pm on February 19.
Emergency services attended and four people were taken by ambulance to Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary.
Their conditions are currently unknown.
One man was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Following the incident the road was closed for around three hours, but has since fully reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a two car crash on the A907 at Blairhall around 1.20pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and four people were taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
“One man was arrested and taken by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. He will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence.”
“The road was closed for around three hours but has since fully re-opened.”
