Fife Jammer LocationsA man has been arrested after a woman was raped in a park in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline at around 6.15pm on Tuesday following reports of a serious sexual assault.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the serious sexual assault of a woman in Dunfermline.
“The incident took place within Pittencrieff Park in the early evening on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
