A man has been arrested in connection with shooting a gun in a residential street in Edinburgh.
A home on Burdiehouse Drive was allegedly shot at around 8.40pm on Friday, August 20, while young children and two adults were inside.
Children were also playing in nearby gardens and people were on the street as onlookers allegedly witnessed bullets ricochet off a wall of the home and into the garden.
Police confirmed a 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with the discharge of a firearm.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday. Police said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
