Fife Jammer LocationsA man has been arrested after a late-night disturbance at a Fife hotel on Monday.
Police were called to the Beveridge Park Hotel on Abbotshall Road, Kirkcaldy, at around 11.10pm on July 31.
It is understood there were sightings of someone with a weapon in the area.
Images from the scene showed a large police presence blocking off routes into the hotel, and armed officers were also present.
No injuries were reported as a result.
Fife Jammer LocationsA 58-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and police said their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.10pm on Monday, July 31, we received a report of a disturbance at a premises on Abbotshall Road, Kirkcaldy.
“A 58-year-old man was arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
