A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a toddler in Edinburgh.
Julius Czapla died after emergency services were called to Muirhouse at around 9.30am on Saturday
On Thursday, Lucasz Czapla appeared at Edinburgh sheriff court charged with the murder of the two-year-old.
The 40-year-old made no plea and was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
Mr Czapla will next appear in court within eight days.
