Google MapsA man has appeared in court after a teenager was knocked down in Musselburgh.
Emergency services were called to Haddington Road in Musselburgh after reports of a 17-year-old female being knocked down by a black MG HS at around 4.15pm on Saturday, April 19.
The teen was taken to hospital where her condition was described as critical on Saturday.
Peter Connarton, 37, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 22 in connection with the incident.
He was charged with a number of road traffic offences and made no plea.
He was committed for further examination and granted bail.
