A man has appeared in court accused of “upskirting” a child at Taylor Swift’s concert in Edinburgh.

Andrew Hunter was arrested and charged in connection with a voyeurism offence allegedly committed within Murrayfield during the event on June 8.

Hunter, from Lancashire, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on June 28 where he faced a charge under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.

He is accused of voyeurism towards a child aged between 13 and 16 by allegedly operated equipment beneath the clothing of the child with the intention of him or another to observe their underwear, genitals or buttocks.

The 64-year-old made no plea and the case was committed for further examination.

He was granted bail, and is expected to appear in court again at a later date.
