STV NewsA man has been arrested and charged following a disturbance in Leith.
Police were called shortly before 10pm on Friday evening to the Duke Street area.
A 41-year-old man was arrested nearby and later charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.50pm on Friday, July 21, to a report of a disturbance in the Duke Street area of Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and a 41-year-old man was arrested nearby. He has been charged in connection with the incident and due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, July 24.”
