An arrest has been made after a teenage girl was allegedly approached by a man in a car in the Borders.
The incident reportedly took place on Melrose Road in Galashiels on Thursday, May 12.
A man in a white car is said to have pulled up alongside the girl before leaning out the window, attempting to engage her in a conversation.
The 15-year-old was left unhurt, but shaken by the incident.
On Wednesday, police said a 28-year-old man had been arrested and charged with threatening and abusive behaviour.
The force added that the man is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
