Adobe StockA man has been charged in connection with multiple road traffic offences, a year on from a fatal crash in Bathgate.
A 17-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash between a Volkswagen Polo and an HGV on the Boghead Roundabout around 11.50pm on June 9 last year.
The teenager was a passenger in the car, alongside a 20-year-old male driver and an 18-year-old passenger, who were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were referred to the Police Investigations and Review Commissioner.
The 21-year-old has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
