A section of the M9 has been closed near Stirling following a collision involving four vehicles.
The incident was first reported at around midday on Friday.
Emergency services are in attendance, and the road is closed westbound between Junctions 9 and 10.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and to find alternative routes.
In a social media post, Traffic Scotland said: “The M9 at Junction 9 is currently closed westbound due to a road traffic incident.
“Road users are advised to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal travel times.”
Police Scotland added: “Officers are currently dealing with a road accident on the M9 northbound at Stirling.
“Road Closures are in effect: M9 at Junction 9 M80 at Junction 9. Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
