The M80 has been closed in both directions after an electric pole caught fire.

Police said the motorway is fully closed at the junction with the M876 at Dennyloanhead due to an electric pole on fire after 8pm on Friday.

Traffic Scotland confirmed junctions 8 to 9 are affected due to the fire.
